-Concepts and usage of SHORT and LONG vowels + Silent e formula
-Further practise of identifying, blending and segmenting of basic sounds
-Introduction of dictation and dictation skills practice.

-Continuation of more advanced alternative spellings to phonic sounds.
-Frequency Words and Reading Skills
-The continuation and constant practice of dictation using advanced phonics skills.
-Practise and master identifying, blending and segmenting of all phonic sounds.
-Continuation of more advanced alternative spellings to phonic sounds.

-Composition: Important components to story writing.
-Writing stories using present, past tense, future and mixed tenses in different story scenarios.
-Comprehension: Important skills in reading to identify answers to questions.
-Phonics related comprehension.
-Exposure to different comprehension formats: multiple choice, fact finding, true or false, creative / logic thinking and short / long answer questions.
–Segmenting and identifying the tense and components to a piece of writing.>
